There Urhere team has been working very hard on some important improvements across Urhere, and we wanted to give customers an early look at what’s coming.
These updates are focused on making everyday workforce management faster, clearer and easier to use — especially for teams managing rosters, employees, payroll and reporting across multiple locations.
Some updates are already in progress, while others will be released progressively as part of our ongoing product improvements.
We appreciate that some of you have been waiting whilst we finalised this update, however the size and magnitude of what has change, the affect it has on our customer base has been our top consideration.
Built for busy teams, growing businesses and multi-location operations
Managing a workforce gets harder as your team grows. More employees, more locations, more payroll rules, more reporting needs and more moving parts.
The upcoming Urhere updates are designed to make that easier. We’re improving the way teams build rosters, manage employees, prepare payroll, communicate with staff, track sales and labour, and operate across multiple locations from one account.

Important update
Important Xero payroll improvements
We’re also making important changes to the way Urhere works with Xero payroll and payroll in general. This has paved the way for more Awards, and more payroll connectors.
These updates are designed to give customers more control, clearer export information and better support for multi-location businesses using Xero.
What’s changing
Improved matched rate handling
Urhere is improving how matched Xero rates are handled, making it easier to understand which rates are connected and how they are being used during payroll export.

Two-way syncing with employee pay templates
Urhere will support syncing rates on demand between Xero and employee pay templates in both directions, helping keep employee pay setup and Xero payroll configuration better aligned.
Clearer export messaging
Payroll export messaging is being improved so customers can better understand what is happening during export, what needs attention and what has been completed.
Multiple Xero organisations connected to one Urhere account
Customers will be able to connect multiple Xero organisations to a single Urhere account. This is important for businesses that operate across multiple locations, entities or payroll setups.

How to get prepared
There is nothing urgent you need to do right now. However, this is a good time to:
- Review your current roster, timesheet and payroll processes
- Make sure employee records are up to date
- Check your locations and location settings
- Review pay templates and payroll configuration
- Review how your team currently manages sales, budgets and labour planning
- If you use Xero, review your current pay templates, and matched rates – ensure the Hourly Rates match the rates you would like to use in Xero.
A better foundation for the future of Urhere
These updates are part of a broader improvement program across Urhere.
We’re not just adding more features. We’ve been improving the foundations of the product so that rostering, employee management, payroll preparation, reporting, onboarding, communication and multi-location workflows work better together.
Our goal is to make Urhere more powerful, easier to use and better suited to the way modern teams operate.
