Important Information
- Allowances are not automated
- Only rules listed below are applied within the system. Rules that may exist outside of the system are to applied manually via your payroll platform, outside of Urhere.
- 38 Hours is when Weekly Overtime is applied. This cannot be changed
- Penalty rates are applied by the minute
- Loadings & Other Burdens are not applied automatically or considered in the rate library. This includes all loading types, such as leave and casual loading
- Delayed Meal Breaks are applied as per the rule. Delayed meal breaks are not applied during Overtime (Daily & Weekly). You must apply these manually during the payroll process outside of Urhere
- Urhere will create entries in your Payroll platform (Xero) for each rule and apply the appropriate multiplier. Please check your payslips / timesheet export carefully.
- You cannot match rates to the Rate Library
- Public Holidays are applied if they are in your Public Holiday listing (found in Accounts > Settings)

- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate
- Applies When: Applies on Monday through Friday when no other condition is met.
Mon-Fri Evening
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate plus additional per hour or part of an hour
- Applies When: Applies for ordinary hours between 7:00 PM and 12:00 AM on Monday through Friday.
Mon-Fri Early Morning
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate plus additional per hour or part of an hour
- Applies When: Applies for ordinary hours between 12:00 AM and 7:00 AM on Monday through Friday.
Saturday
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 1.20
- Applies When: Applies on Saturdays when no other condition is met.
Sunday
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 1.40
- Applies When: Applies on Sundays when no other condition is met.
Mon-Fri Daily Overtime – First 2 hours
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 1.20
- Applies When: Applies after 12 hours of worked time on a single day from Monday through Friday.
Mon-Fri Daily Overtime – After 2 hours
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 1.60
- Applies When: Applies after 14 hours of worked time on a single day from Monday through Friday.
Sat-Sun Daily Overtime
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 1.60
- Applies When: Applies after 12 hours of worked time on a single day during the weekend.
Mon-Fri Weekly Overtime – First 2 hours
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 1.20
- Applies When: Applies after 38 hours of ordinary time worked in a week from Monday through Friday.
Mon-Fri Weekly Overtime – After 2 hours
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 1.60
- Applies When: Applies after 38 hours of ordinary time worked in a week from Monday through Friday, once the first 2 hours of weekly overtime have been completed.
Sat-Sun Weekly Overtime
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 1.60
- Applies When: Applies after 38 hours of ordinary time worked in a week during the weekend. No more than 12 hours per day contribute to the ordinary hours count. The start of the week is defined by the location’s week start.
Public Holiday
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 2.00
- Applies When: Applies on designated public holidays.
Public Holiday Daily Overtime
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 2.00
- Applies When: Applies after 12 hours of worked time on a public holiday.
Public Holiday Weekly Overtime
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 2.00
- Applies When: Applies after 38 hours of ordinary time worked in a week on a public holiday.
Mon-Fri Delayed Meal Break
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 1.40
- Applies When: Applies when a meal break of at least 30 minutes is not taken within the first 6 hours of a shift from Monday through Friday. Continues until a break is taken or the shift is completed.
Saturday Delayed Meal Break
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 1.60
- Applies When: Applies when a meal break of at least 30 minutes is not taken within the first 6 hours of a shift on Saturday. Continues until a break is taken or the shift is completed.
Sunday Delayed Meal Break
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 1.80
- Applies When: Applies when a meal break of at least 30 minutes is not taken within the first 6 hours of a shift on Sunday. Continues until a break is taken or the shift is completed.
Public Holiday Delayed Meal Break
- Multiplier: Base Hourly Rate multiplied by 2.40
- Applies When: Applies when a meal break of at least 30 minutes is not taken within the first 6 hours of a shift on a public holiday. Continues until a break is taken or the shift is completed.
