Review and approve timesheets before payroll

Timesheets built from clock-in data, reviewed by managers and approved before anything goes to payroll.

Timesheets that build themselves — you just approve

When employees clock in and out, Urhere records the hours and builds a timesheet automatically. Managers review actual hours against the roster, handle any exceptions and approve before the data goes to payroll.

Timesheets

Approve timesheets before they reach payroll

Catch errors, adjust hours and approve timesheets with confidence.

Built from clock-in data

Timesheets are populated automatically from clock-in and clock-out records. Staff do not fill them in manually — you see what actually happened.

Review exceptions before approving

See which timesheets have discrepancies between rostered and actual hours, so you can investigate before approving.

Adjust hours and breaks

Make corrections directly in the timesheet — adjust start times, end times and break durations where needed.

Approve individually or in bulk

Review and approve individual timesheets or clear a full pay period in one step. Nothing moves to payroll until it is approved.

Track timesheet status

See which timesheets are pending, flagged or approved. Know exactly where the pay period stands at any time.

Export when ready

Once approved, export timesheet data to Xero or your payroll system. Pay items are already mapped.

Catch exceptions before they become payroll errors

Urhere flags any timesheet where the clocked hours do not match the roster — late clock-ins, missing clock-outs, short breaks or unrostered time. You see the discrepancy clearly before approving.

Adjust the hours, add a note and approve. Every change is recorded so there is always an audit trail. Once approved, the timesheet is ready to export to payroll.

How timesheet approval works

Start with exceptions

The timesheet view surfaces flagged discrepancies first — late clock-ins, missing punches, short breaks — so you tackle the problem records before the clean ones.

Adjust, note and approve

Make any corrections needed — start time, break duration, early departure — add a manager note, then approve. Every change is recorded with a name and timestamp.

Bulk approve clean timesheets

For pay periods with no exceptions, approve timesheets in bulk. Clean weeks take a matter of seconds rather than going row by row.

Export when approved

Once all timesheets are approved, export the pay period to Xero in one step. Pay items are already mapped and ready.
