Roster front of house and kitchen, handle last-minute changes and have timesheets approved before the end of the week

Hospitality runs on rosters that change daily — late shift additions, casual call-ins, staff running short. Urhere keeps up with that pace. Build the roster, watch who clocks in, review exceptions, and approve timesheets before they go to payroll — without chasing anyone or opening a spreadsheet.

Hospitality

Workforce management built for hospitality teams

Handle the rostering and timesheet complexity of hospitality without it consuming your day.

Build rosters across front and back of house

Roster across FOH, BOH, bar, kitchen and management roles in one view. See coverage gaps before you publish.

Handle casual and part-time staff

Most hospitality teams run on a mix of permanent, part-time and casual staff. Urhere handles all employment types in the same system.

Manage last-minute changes

Add or swap shifts on the day without rebuilding the whole roster. Notify affected staff through the mobile app immediately.

Track clock-ins across areas

See when staff clock in and which area they are covering. Spot who is late or missing before service gets busy.

Approve timesheets before payroll

Review actual hours against rostered shifts. Flag exceptions, adjust where needed and approve — all before the pay run.

Manage multiple venues from one account

Run rosters and approve timesheets across several venues from a single Urhere login. No switching between systems.

How Urhere helps hospitality workflows

Connect rostering, attendance, approvals and payroll preparation in one system.

Workflow

Roster to timesheet without the manual work

When staff clock in via the Urhere mobile app, their time is recorded against the rostered shift. At the end of the pay period, you open the timesheet view — shifts are already matched to actual clock-ins.

You can see the rostered start time, actual clock-in, clock-out, break duration and any exceptions in one row. If something looks off, adjust it. If it is correct, approve it.

  • Rostered shifts matched to actual clock-ins automatically
  • Exceptions flagged for review — early starts, late arrivals, missed clock-outs
  • Adjust then approve in a single step
  • Export to Xero when timesheets are approved

Workflow

See who has clocked in across your venue right now

The attendance view shows you which staff are on shift, who has clocked in, who is on a break and who is running late — updated in real time.

For venues with multiple areas or a large casual workforce, this means you always know where you stand at the start of a service period without calling or texting anyone.

  • Live attendance view updated as staff clock in
  • Status badges for clocked in, on break, late and not clocked in
  • Filter by area, role or location
  • Available from the manager dashboard or mobile app
