Timesheet errors reach payroll when there is no proper review step

Manual entry, missed clock-outs, and unreviewed hours lead to payroll mistakes that are expensive to fix. Urhere builds timesheets from actual clock-in data, flags discrepancies automatically, and requires manager approval before anything goes to payroll.

Review actual hours before you approve

On Thursday afternoon or pay-period close, Urhere shows rostered hours next to actual clock-in and clock-out times so managers can see what still needs attention.

Managers can fix missing clock-outs, adjust breaks, add notes on exceptions, then approve. Only approved timesheets are included in payroll export.

Timesheets

The approval step between hours worked and payroll

Review what payroll teams usually chase manually: missing times, break edits and unapproved records.

Timesheets built from clock-in data

Actual hours worked flow from clock-in directly into timesheets. No manual entry required.

Exceptions flagged for review

Discrepancies between rostered and actual hours are flagged so managers can review them before approving.

Manager approval step

Timesheets are approved by a manager before any data goes to payroll. Nothing gets through without sign-off.

Adjust before approving

Managers can correct hours, breaks and start/end times directly in the timesheet before approving.

Bulk or individual approval

Approve timesheets one at a time or in bulk at the end of a pay period. Choose what works for your process.

Export to Xero or your payroll system

Approved timesheets export with pay item mapping so payroll teams avoid re-keying hours from spreadsheets.

Employee clocks in and out

Staff clock in and out using the Urhere app or kiosk. Times are recorded digitally against their rostered shift.

Timesheet built automatically

Urhere builds a timesheet from the clock-in data. Actual hours, break times and total hours are calculated without manual entry.

Exceptions flagged for review

Late arrivals, missing clock-outs or hours that differ from the roster are flagged in the timesheet for manager review.

Manager reviews and adjusts

The manager reviews actual hours against rostered hours, makes any corrections needed, and approves the timesheet.

Timesheets approved and locked

Approved timesheets are locked and ready for payroll. Unapproved timesheets are not included in the payrun.

Payrun generated

Urhere generates the payrun in your connected payroll system with earnings rates applied and hours allocated correctly. No re-entry, no spreadsheet in between.
